This review is purely written by my own. Everyone's opinion on a movie differs. One man's food is other's poison.

First of all, Big applause to Director Dharani for fitting STR exactly into the shoes of Salman. Dabaang was a massive hit in Bollywood. After a soft romantic blockbuster VTV, Versatile Vaanam, he's back with a perfect masala entertainer. As i predicted earlier, the story was similar, and no changes were made much, since Dabaang itself is just like a tamil movie.

Opening song, Fight, Glamourous heroine, Sentiments, Ferrocious Villain, Rib tickling comedian, What more needed to watch a masala movie? We just love these. Don't we?

STR plays as Osthe velan, the cool cop. He does justice to his role. His dance steps are really mesmerizing. Special kudos for his dance movements and Six pack body which he worked out within 20 days! Jithan Ramesh enacts the role played by Arbaz Khan as step-brother of Osthi Velan. He gets a meaty role to play and there is romance for him too. He is energetic too onscreen. Richa is just a glam doll. Her expressions and emotions are apt and Dharani extracts the best from his heroine.Santhanam carries the pace of the movie with his rib tickling comedy most of the times. Santhanam emerges true champ with his one-liners that tickles our funny-bones. He is at his crackling best and scenes involving him and Simbu bring the roof down with laughter.Dharani’s choice of star cast is apt for the masala venture, Saranya Mohan, Naasar, Revathy, VTV Ganesh everyone performed flawlessly.

Pick of the album is "Cute pondaati", It rocked visually. Action scenes were also enjoyable, even though some gravity defying stunts were there. Thaman's songs were already blockbuster, and those songs never seemed to slow down the pace of the movie.

Dialogues were so Crisp. Especially the one which STR often utters "Naan kanaadi madri le.." Gopinath's camera is outstanding and he shares a perfect rapport with Dir.Dharani

Movie's backdrop is based on Nellai, but the locales of mysore never matched. Heroine Richa seems to be a poor girl, but her house and the way she uses make up seems she is damn rich. Sonu sood is the apt villain, but he's not as great as he made it in Dabaang. But STR overtook Sallu bhai. Sallu, except his physique looked comical. There are songs, fights, romance, comedy sequences and no dull moments all through.

Verdict : 2011 ends with a perfect family entertainer. Hat-Trick for young superstar! :clapping:

A word to STR haters : "If u watch the movie, with 'Not a good movie' thought on your mind, U just can't enjoy it, watch it with blank mind, U'll enjoy it too"
